Hie-Jinja Shrine was established more than 600 years ago. It is well-known for being one of the three biggest Japanese festivals which is held in June. This is a special shrine in that it has received offerings to the god from the imperial family since the Meiji era. The shrine was built in the Kamakura era, later it was moved to the Edo Castle.
National Diet Building is open to the public. Constructed in 1936, it’s been the seat of Japanese politics and government. The House of Representatives and the House of Councilors in the building are open for a free tour for the visitors.
